Backpacking Around Europe: Ireland 01

I ended my 2013 with many memorable moments I could have never imagined of having at this age. I got the opportunity to go backpacking around Europe for a month last December. It was totally a journey of lifetime-- at some places, I was travelling alone. Somehow, I actually didn't really travel solo even if I did, because I had my cameras with me :)

I started my journey from my hometown, Kuala Lumpur to Dublin, the city where's my elder sister is currently studying. I visited her for a night so there's no many photos of Dublin in this post, but I would post in the next one.

7/52 - Countryside view to Belfast
In the bus to Belfast. I've passed by really beautiful countryside houses and I wish I could stop for awhile!

After two hours of bus-ride from Dublin (Republic of Ireland), I arrived in Belfast (Northern Ireland, United Kingdom), my friend, Aida who is a student there picked me and she was kind enough to let me stay with her for a few nights! And that night, she brought me to an Indian restaurant to eat. We ate Mixed Briyani and it was just so good!

Then the next day, I went to the Winter Wonderland in the city, which actually after getting lost finding for the famous Titanic Museum. I stayed there for 15 minutes or so and had some hot chocolate. When I finally found the way to the museum (I even went inside to a neighbourhood which was funny  because the way to the museum was actually simple! haha!) and entered it, it wasn't as interesting to me as I thought! But it wasn't bad as well.

The next night, my friend, her friend from Hong Kong and I went to the local Christmas Market and walked around there. Sadly, there was no halal food so we were only able to eat some kind of sweet bread. It was raining on the very night, so I was very careful to use my camera at that kind of weather but it was worth it.

A penguin me. No tourist picture! :P
