Short+Sweet Malaysia Stand-Up Comedy and Songs

I got the opportunity to see "Short+Sweet Malaysia Stand-Up Comedy and Songs" show performed by new Malaysian performers last night at KLPAC. It was actually an "educational" stuff in college but judging from the not-so-witty jokes from some of the comedians, I don't think it is suitable for education at all. Positive is, it was kinda a break for my busy schedule in college...

My personal favourites for the night were definitely Jordi Jenkins and Sophia F. Othman Andersen & brother and Bow Martin.

Jordi made witty jokes rather than some other comedians who made super LOUSY dirty jokes and bitching about the local politicians publicly. Of course I wouldn't mind if I listen the joke by myself but in public, oh-oh, really made me uncomfortable. My mind was blown-away with how stupid, terrible the jokes were. So unacceptable. Jordi somehow did mention something that slightly offensive for some, but I did get his message, and he was true. He said how he gets mistaken all the time for being Malay because he's a Chindian.. Malaysians are too quick to judge instead of asking, we LOVE to assume. And I also loved his IKEA story. Haha! So funny la this guy.

Sophia's voice gave me shiver, for God's sake, this girl is only 14 years old! I couldn't believe it all! She's taller and bigger in person and looks more matured than me! and she's pretty, talented and sweet. Tell me again, what am I doing with my life now? Oh and her brother, Stefan, super good at playing guitar for her sister's song "Shooting Star". These siblings, ah. Love.

Bow Martin and the girl he was performing with was so so good. Gave me goosebumps when they only started! So happy when they were singing and stuff. Super talented people la you. <3

On another note, I really wonder if some of the singers know that they can't sing..it's like listening to Selena Gomez singing live. If you get what I mean. I hate to say this, but as an audience, it made me uneasy listening such bad performance.

nasi lemak, cuz, we are Malaysians?

DIY Flower Crowns

I always love flower crowns and so I decided to buy some fake flowers to make a few by my own. I actually bought those flowers a month ago before Eid but I was so busy! I watched some tutorials on YouTube and pinterest then I tried doing by myself. Nothing like those beautiful-hand-made but I'm quite proud that I managed to produce decent two flowercrowns today! *business-opportunity* :P

Anyway, I turned 20 years old three days ago, cannot believe how time has eaten me bit by bit! I'm happy that I've become wiser and more mature, but I've also become more bitter than before. I've that self-conscious but I'm not that person you know 2 years back which was fun and not serious. I also don't find birthdays enjoyable to celebrate anymore.. though, I appreciate those thoughtful people who wished my birthday. No lies, reading those messages without me alerting or even caring that's my birthday, was seriously comforting. Plus, the week was so havoc, so much of assignments to be submitted and to make it worse, I was sick with fever and flu! Thank God, I just healed yesterday. :)

the final products!
I really want to take decent self-portraits, I nearly have no pictures of me taken by my own dslr to be kept as memories! I have no proper gears; tripod & remote whatsoever and also a person in my household or around me who knows to operate a dslr. But maybe I'll find someone, eventually! Hehe :)

On another note, I will start a 52 week project on flickr soon! As I promised some time ago when I turned 20, I'm gonna participate. Hopefully, I can do this!
