Engagement Day: Ika & Helmy

Quite a month ago, I photographed a friend, Ika's engagement day at her house on a rainy day. I loved how simple it was and how it was done according to her family's tradition, Javanese culture. Mostly on food though; tempe. Oh Lord, I love tempe! (whyyyy.)

it's creepy how her facial expression remains the same when I shot the next frame. haha

tempe love.

I asked them to pose for the camera a bit but they were shy in front of people ;)

My big sister graduated from accounting school last week and I helped her to photoshoot her convocation day at her university and now she's already back to Ireland for her further studies. Time flies and I am still running to be in the right period-track.

I still have a lot of photos to be uploaded, to be shown in a few different posts, but I really have to find some quiet and peaceful time/place to edit those photos.

fourth week of fifty two

Time flies so fast that I've already passed my fourth week, and I'm proud of myself that I decided to start this project despite the busy schedule I'm having. I utilise my camera more than ever and I'm more inspired to create more with it.

This week's (last week, supposedly) photo was a combination of a morning dew photo I took and a cliche car-mirror selfie - morning face. That explains my dull face, ey? Yesterday I woke up as early as 5.30 am to study for the last two papers which are scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday and after I did some revision, I intended to go jogging but it was raining.  I waited a little bit but I had to send my friend to a train station so that was when I decided to bring along my camera.

Morning dew, ah. Nature, my soul loves you.

I have a few more days to go before holidays start and I really need to ace the papers last. I was frustrated for the previous paper I sat, so I'm going to try my very best for the upcoming subjects.

That being said, I actually wasted some time on omegle last night chatting with strangers. It wasn't my first time but I couldn't remember though what I talked to strangers on that site for first time. Omegle can be agonizing and disgusting, but also can be very fun actually. I had fun chatting with some of them but got disconnected a lot of times too. I'm sure that one of my activities in holidays later is talking to strangers on omegle. :P

This is by far the funniest and shortest conversation I had last night. Awh, I think I'll stop now and grab my books.

Till then. x
